A spectral cloak that flickers at the edge of perception, whispering cryptic alerts of impending danger to its wearer or nearby subjects. It’s both a guide and a trickster, its warnings sometimes true, sometimes false, shaping decisions in shadowed moments.
Struggling to decipher if the whisperveil’s warnings are real or a cruel illusion could mean life or death in the shadowed city.
The wearer must have the 'Fey Touched' aspect or a similar connection to supernatural whispers.
GM Notes
- The whisperveil can be both a blessing and a curse, so use its warnings to create tension or mislead players.
- Consider having the whispers grow louder or more urgent as danger approaches, or subtly suggest false alarms to challenge perception.
