4. AI Providers

Town Scryer uses AI model providers to operate core features. User-submitted and generated game content may be sent to providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and other model providers to generate, classify, summarize, or improve the in-app experience. We use these providers to provide the service; their processing is also subject to their applicable terms and policies.

5. Sharing of Information

We share information only as needed to operate, secure, improve, market, and comply with legal obligations for Town Scryer. This may include sharing information with:

• Payment Processors: Stripe and related payment services for checkout, billing, taxes, fraud prevention, and payment records.
• Shipping and Fulfillment Providers: Postal, shipping, printing, and fulfillment partners for physical mailed goods.
• AI Providers: Model providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and other providers used to generate or process game content.

6. Data Retention

We retain information as long as reasonably necessary to provide the services, fulfill purchases, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with law, and improve Town Scryer. Generated story content, campaign settings, play-by-mail sessions, investigator setup, weekly theories, classifications, generated letters, purchases, reservations, and event records may be retained while needed for gameplay, fulfillment, support, analytics, and business records. Payment, billing, and shipping information held by Stripe or fulfillment providers is retained under their own policies.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.

Town Scryer is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
