Dragon's Breath (Recharge 5–6). Grathysyx exhales fire in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw, taking 45 (10d8) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.
Keen Senses. Grathysyx has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell or hearing.
Description

A massive, wild chimera beast with the muscular body of a dire bear and tiger stripes, a snarling dire wolf head, scaled dragon wings folded on its back, curling goat horns, dexterous monkey-like forepaws, and a flickering snake-like tongue.

Hook

Grathysyx was once controlled by a powerful mage and now roams near remnants of that mage’s ruined tower, unsettled by dark magic.

Motivation

To roam free, driven by its primal urges, avoiding any attempts at control or domination.

Personality

Unpredictable and feral, Grathysyx is driven by instinct and rage but can freeze in sudden cautious awareness when sensing danger.

GM Notes

- Use Multiattack combining claws and bite for heavy melee damage.
- Dragon’s Breath gives an area fire attack with recharge mechanic.
- High Perception and Stealth make it a dangerous ambush predator.
