* The Humvee dramatically reduces overland travel time compared to horses, wagons, or travel on foot.
* Under normal road conditions, distances requiring approximately four days of travel by horse or wagon can typically be covered in about one hour by Humvee.
* Difficult terrain, dense forests, mountains, swamps, destroyed roads, rivers, deep snow, or magical hazards may significantly reduce travel speed or require alternate routes.
