- Mastery of All Magic. You can cast detect magic at will and identify once per dawn without material components. The blade has 3 charges, regaining all expended charges daily at dawn; you can expend 2 charges to cast counterspell or dispel magic (spellcasting ability is your own).
- Verdant Dominion. Three times per dawn when you deal damage with a spell, you can change its damage type to acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder. Once per dawn, you can cast tree stride from the blade.
A living rapier of thorn-wrapped wood, its blade grown from the soul of Silvanas, a slain elven forest monarch of magic. Its branchlike hilt coils around the wielder's hand and locks in place when attunement is complete.
A rival time-culture seeks Silvanas to use its mastery of magic to overwrite the forest's past and claim its future.
Silvanas ruled an ancient elven forest realm before being slain during the collision of past, present, and future cultures; the monarch's soul endured by taking root in this weapon.
The thorns tighten whenever the wielder speaks a lie about nature or magic.
GM Notes
- Silvanas is a living relic with Silvanas's memories, instincts, and opinions.
- The blade's magic fails if its wielder knowingly destroys a living forest or abandons one to destruction when intervention was reasonably possible.
- While its magic is suppressed by this vow, it remains a normal rapier until the wielder makes meaningful restitution.
