Ka’thil
A sickened river vein is draining color from the land, and the party must find whether the Pu'thala tree can be heale...
- The aurora-like sky has no visible end; light and heat rise from within the realm itself.
- Tifa flows across and beneath the terrain in broad, viscous channels.
- When Ka’thil sickens, its colors fade and inhabitants become dull shells, except when seen through glittering hallucinations.
Wide channels and underground veins of thick, mirror-bright Tifa shift between turquoise, cyan, and violet; megaflora basins shape the living landscape. At its heart stands the sacred Pu'thala tree, its glowing bark veins changing hue beneath copper-toned insects.
A sickened river vein is draining color from the land, and the party must find whether the Pu'thala tree can be healed or is causing the corruption.
There is no sun, planet, or ordinary sky—only an endless horizon beneath shifting bands of cerulean, violet, magenta, amber, and aqua-white. Dense air bends light into seamless color while the terrain, air, water, and life glow with their own steady warmth.
GM Notes
- Treat the realm as a living environment, not a conventional planet or star-lit wilderness.
- The vivid hallucinations may reveal truths hidden by the colorless sickened state.
