Actions
Multiattack.
Thyrax makes three attacks with Silvanas, or two attacks with Silvanas and casts one at-will spell.
Silvanas, the All-Forest Blade.
Melee Weapon Attack: +13 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 18 (2d10 + 7) slashing damage plus 13 (3d8) psychic damage. The blade was forged from the soul of Silvanas, Monarch of Thorns.
Command the Contracted.
One elite soul bound to Silvanas manifests in an unoccupied space within 60 feet and obeys Thyrax's command until the end of his next turn. The soul can make one attack or use an appropriate magical ability determined by the GM.
Bonus Actions
Soulstep.
Thyrax teleports to an unoccupied space within 30 feet of a creature bearing one of his soul contracts.
Legendary Actions
Blade Attack.
Thyrax makes one attack with Silvanas.
Cast Spell (Costs 2 Actions).
Thyrax casts one at-will spell.
Thornbound Command (Costs 3 Actions).
Thyrax uses Command the Contracted, and each creature of his choice within 10 feet of the manifested soul must succeed on a DC 20 Strength saving throw or be restrained by spectral thorns until the end of its next turn.
Reactions
Parry.
Thyrax adds 5 to his AC against one melee attack that would hit him. He must see the attacker and be wielding Silvanas.

Spellcasting
Spellcasting.
Thyrax is an 18th-level spellcaster. His spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 20, +12 to hit with spell attacks). He requires no material components for spells cast through Silvanas. At will: detect magic, dispel magic, misty step, telekinesis. 3/day each: counterspell, dimension door, dominate person, wall of thorns. 1/day each: chain lightning, disintegrate, forcecage, foresight, power word stun.
Special Abilities
Blood Curse of the Valor Family.
Thyrax must obey the living members of the Valor family and serve them until the family becomes extinct. He cannot willingly act against a direct order from a Valor unless doing so would immediately cause another curse to trigger.
The Witch's Prophecy.
An unknown witch's newer curse declares that two god-blooded children will cause Thyrax's death. Thyrax knows the prophecy but not the children's identities; he cannot willingly kill either child while aware of their divine blood.
Contracts of Elite Souls.
Thyrax carries contracts with elite souls bound to Silvanas. He has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects, and his weapon attacks are magical.
Legendary Resistance (3/Day).
If Thyrax fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead.

Personality
Disciplined, grave, and unfailingly formal; he treats every command as sacred, even when it horrifies him.
